FCC Enforcement overview and commentary from DIYmedia.net

The remarkable John Anderson, an historic figure in recreational, experimental and other forms of broadcasting, published two very interesting articles on his seminal site, DIYmedia.net
Another twenty plus year veteran of the study of making radio, I first discovered John's writings on the old, old, old original About.com sites before the umpteen buyouts and subsequent total destruction of the original idea of a human expert web environment.
John was a human expert on the topics of other-than-licensed radio and I was honored to correspond with John on the topic of low power radio fun.
Mr. Anderson ran away to school and got himself a PhD and now serves as an Assistant Professor and Director of the Journalism and Media Studies program in the Department of TV & Radio at Brooklyn College, City University of New York.
Dr. Anderson is also the author of Radio’s Digital Dilemma: Broadcasting in the Twenty-First Century.
His research interests include media policy/history and independent/interventionist media systems and practices.
Amongst the many great writings on DIYmedia.net are two recent missives on the topic of FCC enforcement, one community's reaction to FCC enforcement and how the FCC was triggered by that community's response.
Please to be enjoying Paper Tiger Roars in 2017 – To What End? and also the fascinating Coloradans Push Back Against Anti-Pirate Bullying, two great tastes that go great together!
Looks like Orwellian Doublethink and Newspeak are the new normal!
